Representing a minute In order to represent a minute, we decided to count to 1 to 60 using 4 people. In order to make this counting possible, we printed 60 A4 sheets, having 1 number from 1 to 60 in each sheet. We took 60 photos, where each photo count with a person that has in his hands a black frame with a number that represents a second while the other 3 participants would have a black sheet, having in this way, the attention of the eye focused on the number that is in shown in the particular person at that second. Having 1 photo every second, we are increasing the number till we get to 60 and in this way, we would be representing a minute. Once we had the photo shooting ready, we resize the images to make the workflow easy, and having in this way a smaller but effective file size. Adding some contrast and little retouches on Lightroom, we were ready to proceed to the last part of the exercise importing the 60 files to “PicGifLiteâ€? where we set the file on 1 frame per second and exporting to .GIF file using 1920x1280 as file size. We´ve been through different difficulties. Like pointing the lights in a correct way and make them sincronize properly, to keep the 4 participants in the same place till we finish with the last sheet, making them stand in the same position for the whole photoshooting.
