Now is the time to start planning fall fundraisers so you can hit the ground running as soon as the schoolbell rings! Contact key people this summer and let them know you have just what they need to raise those much needed funds come fall of the year!

PARTY CHECKOUT PLAN. SIMPLIFY. ORGANIZE. How do you organize your party checkout area? Do you just toss everything on the counter? Do you keep everything in a tote? Here are a few ideas to help you weed through the madness, be more organized, and provide a more professional polish to your party checkout! Try putting your opportunity brochures to the left, hostess packets in front of you, your calculator to the right, and your calendar front and center in plain view of your guest. Everything is within reach, easy to put straight into the hands of your guest, and they will also serve as a visual reminders of things to discuss with them during checkout.

Six degrees of separation. You have heard of it I am sure. It is a theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of “a friend of a friend” statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.

Your FRANKS list is a great tool to do just that! Revisiting and refreshing it often Past Customers. List the ones with high sales, low sales, bought multiple items. Encourage them to be the first one to have a fall party. Reach out to them and let them know why you selected them and that it is not just a random sales call. If they don’t want to party, ask them for an introduction to a new friend.

Past Hostesses. List the fun ones, the ones who had high attendance at their party, high party volume, more than one party, or a seasonal partier. These are where you can build your circle of friends. Ask them to rebook for fall. Talk with their guests and encourage them to do the same.

Wow - those are three brand new areas that you have just added to your FRANKS list! Just remember, your FRANKS list is only effective if you keep it current, revisit and refresh it often. Try stepping outside the box and doing some cold calls. Dig out some of those old FRANKS lists and see who you have not talked to in months (or years) and give them a call. Let them know you were thinking about them and wanted to let them know that the new season is about to start and you would love to share with them.

Past Team Members. List team members who are no longer active? Being inactive doesn’t mean they don’t still love 31 or have customers who do. Reach out to them and help them make their way back to your team or be one of the first to host a fall party with you. They might just surprise you!

Expanding your circle is crucial to expanding your business. Talking with people one-on-one is your best way to show them how important they are to you and your business. It helps you maintain and continue to build and strengthen your relationship with them. They hear the excitement in your voice and what you have to offer. You just cannot get that through a text message or a post on social media. Take some time today to develop an updated FRANKS list. I bet you will surprise yourself at just how many positive responses you have by the end of the week.

Take the time to get to know the guests - are they coming from work, do they have kids, are they retired, getting married, etc.? Consider using name tags so you can use their name when you speak to them during the party. Use pre-party time to your advantage and start creating and cultivating a relationship with them. What do you get when you mix a packet of colorful index cards, a few one liners, and a sharpie? Seed sharing cards!

Say what? Take a packet of index cards. On each one, write something unique about a product and slip the card inside. Then at the party, when a guest touches the product, you use it in your presentation, or if someone asks about it - use the card inside as a talking point. Cool, right? You can also use them as seeds for booking and recruiting! Drop a card inside a wallet and write $150 on it. When someone pulls it out - show your excitement by sharing that the average consultant earns around $150 per party. Ask them what they would do with that wallet and an

extra $150. You could also stuff in $150 in play money to drive home the point. The idea is to build in spontaneous seed moments that just happen. If they don’t happen at that party - it’s okay! The cards are there to remind you when they do! This is also a great tool for new consultants as they are learning and getting comfortable with the party presentation. You could color code them for certain types of events - pink for product, green for recruiting, blue for booking, gold for a prize! Get the idea? How could you use seed sharing cards at your party?
