Come for a fun trivia game to learn about some common nature myths! Seasonal Interpreter Ashlyn can’t wait to watch you compete! Winners recieve bragging rights as well as a few small prizes! The trivia game will focus on common myths that are associated with nature. Help us to debunk these common beliefs and learn some fun facts along the way!

Join Ranger Stephanie as she reads several fun stories about birds, wildlife, or other fun nature topics! The stories will change each week, so come back each week for more stories! Some storytime sessions may have a craft component involved with them afterwards. The storytime will take place at the Outdoor Classroom on Hickory Ridge Trail at 10:00 AM. To get to the Outdoor Classroom from the main parking lot take the gravel path beside the bathrooms up towards Kelly Lane and follow the crosswalk to the trailhead. There are benches to sit on at the Outdoor Classroom, but you are welcome to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on as well. This is a FREE program for children and their parents/caregivers to attend.

We often bring available rescues to help them with socialization, walking on a leash, etc. Although this is not an adoption event, it is a good opportunity to meet those looking a forever home.

Tri-Star Arts is pleased to present the next exhibition in their Golden Chain Gallery project space located at the historic Candoro Marble Building. Studies by Nichole Schappert (Knoxville, TN, USA) opens Friday, May 19, 2023 and will run through Saturday, July 8, 2023. This show is located within the unique architectural space of a steep wooden stairwell and elements will be added to it by the artist over the duration of the exhibition.
