Creating a home spa day on a regular basis can be done simply and within your budget with just a few tools and a bit of inspiration.

Face Mask.

Not only will it make you look smashing, but emotionally it can give you a well-deserved, stress-free boost!

Think polished skin, serenity and calm!

Though treating yourself to a luxurious spa day or treatment may be ideal (below we list some fab places to make that happen), it can be costly and time-consuming.

Three amazing ones you definitely should check out in and around the Boston area worth driving to include:

BLush Spa

Waltham, MA @belushspa

Embody MedSpa

North Reading, MA @embodymedspa

Encore Boston Harbor

Everett, MA @encorebostonharbor

According to several experts in skincare, here are five ways you can incorporate that special “you” day with little effort and small commitment!

Some ideas for your list:

Though most of these items can be purchased online, please consider supporting your local community and start-ups first!

Dry brushing.

This is a must for glowing skin according to the experts. This is recommended before you bathe or shower. It rids the body of dead skin cells and helps the lymphatic system with circulation. Go easy though, rough dry brushing can sometimes cause irritation. There are many youtube videos and articles online with helpful suggestions.

Candle or soft lighting.

Shops like Sephora and Ulta have many choices of reasonable individual masks. I would recommend one for sensitive skin to start. They are so relaxing and refreshing.

Bath bombs and dried flowers:

These are perfect if you prefer a bath versus a shower. They are soothing, great for the skin, and come in many colors, varieties, and scents.

Body Butters and Creams:

You want to create a peaceful, calm ambiance. Soft lighting creates a mood of serenity and peace.

This can be applied after your bath or shower and is recommended to apply daily to keep your skin soft and supple.

These are a must to reduce under-eye circles, reduce puffiness and feel awesome and refreshing! Lip Balm helps for soothing and giving your lips a subtle glow.

Lavender, Chamomile, and Citrus Scents are recommended.

Who is NEXT to know about?!

Meet Capsule Wardrobe Expert & Founder of GoodRobe & Co., Jennifer Cassara!

"I spent over 20 years as a retail buyer for stores like Lord & Taylor, Filene's Basement, and my own boutiques called Bella & Bella's Closet.

Through the years, I found it increasingly more difficult to find exactly what I was looking for.

Less and less companies were offering classic essentials and, if they were, they were extremely pricey.

I decided that I would create a direct-to-consumer brand that would be reasonably priced and focused on the key items that create the foundation for a sustainable wardrobe."

What is a Capsule Wardrobe?

"A Capsule Wardrobe refers to a collection of clothing that is comprised of interchangeable items that allow you to maximize the number of outfits you can make with a minimal amount of pieces."

"At GoodRobe & Co., our capsules are an assortment of 6 classic pieces that are designed to work together and mix and match to make upwards of 30 outfits which is amazing!

We also use seasonless fabrics so they can be your go-to favorites all year long."

What are the types of items you sell on GoodRobe & Co.com and what is the goal of the brand?

"My goal in creating GoodRobe & Co. was to make it easier for women to look and feel their best in their clothing.

After 25 years in the fashion business, I've learned that there are universally flattering, essential pieces that every woman should have in her wardrobe.

These are the styles that I based the collection on. There are items like blazers, bootcut pants and classic, button-down shirts - the key pieces that will never go out of style."

"A style audit is a 3-part process to reevaluate and update your closet. The first, most important, step is to define your ideal style.

What is your style? Classic? Bohemian? Vibrant?

Once you know what your style is, you can review what's in your closet.

Remove any items that no longer fit your body and style and keep only the items that reflect who you want to present.

After you see what you have, you can identify what you're missing. That's when you can go shopping and fill in the gaps. This prevents you from buying more things you won't wear and only focus on what you truly need."

What inspired you to launch GoodRobe & Co.?

"My superpower is knowing what styles women look best in and nothing makes me happier than sharing this knowledge. Helping women look and feel their best is the greatest gift.

That's why I knew I had to create GoodRobe & Co. Our styles are universally flattering, classically designed, and reasonably pricedeverything women want in an apparel company.

Sharing this has been the greatest labor of love. "

Tell us about the importance of a Style Audit - what is it and why is it valuable?

"We all change over the years - our bodies change, our jobs change & our lifestyles change. Because of this, our wardrobes need to change as well. That's why I suggest doing a Style Audit every few years."

Fun Fact you might not know about Jennifer..

"Most recently, I've been acting as the VP of Sales & Marketing for a fashion jewelry brand called Periwinkle. Most people don't realize that I still have a day job!"
