HOW TO shift your behaviors and priorities to LEAD A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS with media personality, Certified Mindset & Branding Coach gigi diaz
Here are 5 Tips.
First, prioritize self-care. You’ve heard before but I’m not referring to manicures and massages, although those are pretty awesome.
Self-care involves taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Are you getting enough rest, eating well, and exercising regularly?
Are you scheduling regular breaks from work and engaging in activities that help you to relax and recharge? This could include spending time with friends and family, engaging in hobbies, or taking a vacation. Subtle but powerful changes.
Second, take stock. Are you working IN your business or ON it? If you find yourself doing all the things, the busy work, then you’re an employee of your business.

As a woman entrepreneur, running a business can be a demanding task, often requiring long hours and high levels of commitment. Plus you have all the other hats you wear: mom, wife, caretaker, and on and on.
It’s no wonder burnout is so common and running rampant, compromising the success of women-owned businesses everywhere.

I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the goal. One of the biggest causes of burnout for entrepreneurs is taking on too much work. Delegation is crucial in managing workload effectively. If you struggle with this, then there’s work to be done on your CEO mindset.
You should delegate tasks that are not central to the core functions of your business, such as administrative duties or marketing, to other employees or freelancers. This will allow you to focus on what you do best, which is managing the business and making it grow.
Third, time management is crucial. You need to manage your time effectively to ensure that you can get everything done without burning out. This involves scheduling and setting deadlines for tasks, prioritizing tasks according to their importance, and using tools such as productivity apps and time trackers. More importantly, this extends to your personal calendar too. Time for you, with the kids, your husband. Schedule it so you don’t skip over it.
Fourth, seek support. Running a business can be a lonely task, and it is important to seek support from other entrepreneurs, business coaches, or mentors. These individuals can provide guidance, offer insights, and help you to avoid common pitfalls. Additionally, you can join networking groups and attend conferences to meet other entrepreneurs who’ll support and understand you and your journey.
Finally, maintain a positive mindset. Running a business can be stressful, and it is important to maintain a positive mindset. You can do this by focusing on your goals, celebrating small wins, and viewing challenges as opportunities for growth.
You can, and deserve to lead and succeed in business without burnout. You have the power to make decisions that create a new reality of a more peaceful entrepreneurial experience. Prioritizing self-care, delegating tasks, managing time effectively, seeking support, and maintaining a positive mindset, are just the start. If you want to dive deeper, let’s connect! What inspired you to become a Chiropractor?
"When I was younger I always knew I wanted to help people in the healthcare field". I ended up working for a chiropractor during my first year of college and fell in love with it! I loved seeing how chiropractic helped people feel better and changed their quality of life. Like every other average person, I thought it was just about "cracking bones".
While working for the chiropractor I was able to see miracles every day of eliminating pain, improving movement as well as functions of the body like sleep and digestion, menstrual cramps and even helping with infertility. What inspired me to become a chiropractor was learning that I could help people feel better and completely transform their health and quality of life. Even after being a chiropractor for 16 years I still love what I do!"
How did Grasshopper Chiropractic come about?
"I had a private practice in Manchester, NH for 12 years and wanted to open a new practice closer to home. I opened Grasshopper Chiropractic in 2018 as a family practice with a specialty focus on pediatric and pre/postnatal care.
The Grasshopper name came after searching for a cute mascot to represent my practice. My husband actually recommended the name. At first, I didn't like the name because I was thinking with a very scientific mind of the literal insect grasshopper but, once our designer came back with our logo I loved it! I looked up grasshoppers to see if there was any significance with the name or insect. There is :-).
Grasshoppers have 5 transformations throughout their lives. I help people transform their health. Grasshoppers can jump up to 25 x the height of their body. I helped patients reach new heights in their health.
The best was a video from the movie Kung Fu where the master (teacher) says to the student, "oh young grasshopper". Doctor means to teach. I am the teacher and all of my patients are like grasshoppers and students whom I teach how to regain their health. I help them not only feel better, but also move better, and function better to improve the quality of their health. :-)"
How can Chiropractic Care help babies?
It decreases tension in their nerve system so they can move their body better for tummy time and feeding at the breast/bottle.
It helps balance any dysautonomia a fancy word for the failure of sympathetic "fight/flight/startle" and parasympathetic "rest/digest/chill/calm" so the baby can sleep better, poop better, decrease acid reflux, and decrease colic.
We know you work with all ages and genders so what inspired you to want to work with babies?
"I love working with babies! I have seen so many for wellness but also many with challenges. Working with babies to help course correct their nerve system so they can get back on the right path for healing, growth, and development is amazing! Seeing miracles every day, like a nonstop fussy baby crying all the time, now chill, happy, and sleeping through the night (which is not only amazing for the baby but the parents as well!), or a baby in constant discomfort from gas, bloating, constipation, then being able to have daily bowel movements and no discomfort without having to take any medication, or helping a baby learn to roll/crawl/sit up/walk properly (just to name a few) is what inspires me to work with babies :-)"
Starting at what age should a baby see a chiropractor until when?
"It's important to see a chiropractor right after birth as the birth process itself is stressful and may cause the first disruption to your baby's spine and nerve system."
What other services do you offer at your practice?
"In addition to chiropractic care, we also offer functional medicine and nutritional services specializing in digestive problems, hormone imbalances, sleep problems, weight gain, anxiety/depression, and inflammation."
