Fruit Kabobs Ingredients: 12 Kabob Skewers 12 Strawberries Pineapple, cubed Honeydew Melon, cubed Cantaloupe, cubed Directions: Wash, peel and cube the pineapple and melons if needed. Cut strawberries in half. Place one half of the strawberry thru the skewer. Slide a pineapple chunk on the skewer, followed by a cantaloupe chunk, then a honeydew melon chunk. Cap off the skewer with the other strawberry chunk. Serve fresh and enjoy. To make grilled fruit kabobs, soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes prior to assembly of the fruit. Spray a vegetable cooking spray on the grate before preheating to keep fruit from sticking. Place the kabobs on the grill after the coals have begun drying out or grill fruit on the top level of the grate instead of directly over the coals. Rotate the skewers every few minutes when grilling to prevent sticking. Fruit is ready when lightly browned and barely fork tender.
