As a full-time REALTOR in North Scottsdale for nearly 20 years, I am frequently asked about opportunities for selling and buying. That's one of the things I do best; monitor market trends looking for opportunities and timing. This year I decided to take my own advice. What better time than now to take advantage of all-time low interest rates and great buying opportunities? Many questioned but didn't you lose a lot on your current home sale? It is true that I didn't choose to sell at the top of the market in 2005, but that was a choice many of us made. Why? The
timing wasn't right for a variety of reasons. So why sell and buy now? I call it the perfect storm. I didn't realize the profit of 2005; I also didn't turn around and buy at the top of the market at a price that predictably would have taken me more than 10 years to recover. Running the numbers today shows that you realize less on the sale side but so far more on the buy side, with attractive purchase prices and very low new loan carrying costs. Of all the great community and home choices available, it didn't take me long to decide where I wanted to live. Selling homes in Terravita since its
grand opening, I knew the floor-plans, facilities, community offerings, activities, and Country Club that my clients had enjoyed over the years. I knew this was the perfect place for me to call home as your new neighbor. It isn't all work and no play.
