INTRODUCTION
Back in 1937 begings the Guinea Elorza brothers’s commercial activity with the construction of their first heat treatment furnace. Today, GHI Hornos Industriales S.L. counts upon more than 7.500 refferences of installations delivered and has contributed to the development of matallurgical processes relative to melting, heating and treating of a variety of metals. Their insta-
llations, each day more specialized, automatized, and high performed in quality and production, continious at the vanguard of the metallurgical processes. GHI is built on a site more than 20.000 m2 of sur-
face, in the Gran Bilbao area, a highly industrialized region and excellent communication center, both maritime as air.
Continuous line for the screw improvement.
Continuous installation for preheating, carburazing, hardening and tempering of gear wheels and pinions.
It consists of one office building with five floors, that with the manufacturing shops and warehouses, gives more than 9.000m2 built surface. Central offices are located in a buiding attached to the production shops
Continuous furnace for reheating of forging pieces.
GHI is always present at the international trades more signifficants of its field.

FERRIC CONTINUOUS LINES
The Guinea Elorza brothers wirh a group of relatives and employees, at the inauguration of the Galdรกcano plant.
Continuous line for annealing and galvanizing of steel strip.
Continuous line for the heat treating of screw.
Plant and offices have an easy acces and a wide variety of communications.
GHI facilities are located 7 KM. apart from Bilbao, in the N-634 Bilbao-San Sebastian road.
ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING
GHI installations offer: great specialization, automation and high performance in quality.
GHI has been pioneer in the Application of Computer Aided Design to development the complet installations projets. Every departament of the company -management, purchasing, sales, administration, etc.- are integrated in an informatic local net that give more agility and intercommunication.

Furnaces battery for forging of large size pieces.
In its own facilities GHI produces those parts and equipment that demand a specialized manufacturing process.
Induction medium frequency furnace for iron melting. Convereter rating: 6,00Kw.
All furnaces are assembled and tested in the GHI shops before delivery.
Ladle furnace for iron pouring with a capacity of 150 MT.
Zinc melting and maintenance plant.
Manufacturing shops has crane facilities of up to 60Tm enabling delivery of completely assembled furnaces of that weight.
Bell type furnace for heat treating of steel parts.
Chanel induction furnace installed in a continuous galvanizing line.
All furnaces are assembled and installed in the shops before delivery to the client
FERRIC AND ZINC INDUSTRY FURNACES
Equipments are tested in GHI facilities before its delivery.
Car furnace for heat treating of large size pieces.
Arc furnace for ferric scrap melting.
Engineering department has a powerful CAD system with more than twenty people. The 150.000 originals generated along GHI history are informatized and its acces is inmediate.
Semicontinuous furnace for the treatment of steel bars.
Research and development function is coupled with a complete testing laboratory.
ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY FURNACES
There are installations that, due to their technical features or production capability, figures among the most significant of the market segment.
A very high efficient furnace for melting aluminium and its alloys. Production: 4 MT/h.
Circular melting furnace, top charging with lifting and swinging roof mechanism, 7 meter diameter. Melting capacity: 16MT/h
Plant for annealing of aluminium alloy coils with loading car, under protective atmosphere.
Battery of three reverberatory furnaces to melting aluminium, with a very high production.
Three furnaces plant for the preheating of large size aluminium slabs, loaded by a pusher. The furnaces operation as well as the installation for receiving and distributing slabs are fully automated. Induction furnaces for melting and maintenance of aluminium.. Unit capacity: 70MT.
Installation for the solubilization and annealing of aeronautical industry parts.
