Gibraltar Finance to attend the Managing General Agents Association (MGAA) Conference in London on 15 September 2021 Gibraltar Finance will be attending and exhibiting at the MGAA’s annual conference. The one-day conference will be held on Wednesday 15 September 2021 at ETC Venues, 133 Houndsditch in the City of London. In 2019 the conference attracted around 750 attendees and a strong presence is expected in September for this face-to-face event. The MGAA is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 by a group of individuals who saw the need for an association to represent Managing General Agents (MGAs); lobbying on their behalf, communicating their considerable benefits and maintaining high standards within the industry. 10 years later, the MGAA has evolved into a trade association for MGAs in the UK and Ireland with over 150 MGA members. Collectively these MGAs write in excess of £6 billion gross written premium per annum. The MGAA has around 20 insurance company members and would welcome applications to join the Association from both Gibraltar MGAs and insurance companies. Gibraltar Finance will be presenting Gibraltar’s case as a compelling location for MGAs to be established taking advantage of the unique single market between the UK and Gibraltar for insurance companies and insurance intermediaries.
