Giddens School at a Glance Enrollment: 175 Grades: Preschool – 5th grade Age requirements: Children must turn 2 by March 1st to begin in September. Average Class Size: 16 Families receiving financial aid: 35% Awards range from $1,000 to $18,000. Students of color: 50% Staff of color: 30% Student/Teacher ratio: 8:1 Hot Lunch Program: varying monthly rate of $4.75 per day School Hours Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Kindergarten-5th grade: 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. Extended Day Hours All grades 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
