One major challenge is the need for more resources and finances. A new vision calls for a new provision. Even if you have a billion dollars, God will give you a vision greater than that so you can stretch your faith even further. Secondly, the display of different personalities can be a challenge. Jesus dealt with those people and even had to deal with a betrayer – Judas Iscariot. Those we thought were committed and faithful but become betrayers. So, personality and provision are the biggest challenges I have faced.
