Events eliminating the technology gender gap

Girls’ Tech Day, organised by AWS, is aiming to eliminate the gender gap by inspiring and empowering young girls and women to pursue a career in technology. Now in its fourth year, Girls’ Tech Day has already impacted more than 7,000 young women in 12 countries across the world. The free learning days focus on each of the science, technology, engineering, arts, and maths (STEAM) areas, with activities designed to educate, inspire, and, above all, to be enjoyed. This year’s events kicked off in Virginia in October, with in-person events taking place in locations across the US, India, and Australia until the end of December.
