CHILDREN’S CLASSES!

Leave with a new mind, renewed bonds and firm ideas for action!

Our trained teachers and animators know that each person, no matter how young, is potentially the light of the world. Children’s classes will help develop beliefs, habits and behaviors conducive to the advancement of civilization. JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP ! In a peer-driven environment, junior youth will test their powers of spiritual perception, public expression and moral leadership. YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS!

Many of our community-building activities—such as devotional gatherings, children’s classes, junior youth empowerment groups and study circles—operate under the assumption that there are spiritual forces acting on our daily lives. The Royal Falcon Bahá'í School Committee for the 2011 winter session invites you to spend a thrilling weekend with former member of the Universal House of Justice Mr. Hooper Dunbar developing a deeper understanding of the integrating and disruptive nature of these forces. Also with us will be member of the Auxiliary Board for Protection Santosh Kamath and member of the Regional Bahá'í Council of the South Central States Aniela Costello. Together we will study the dynamic interplay among the divine civilizing processes set in motion by Bahá'u'lláh—God's most recent representative to humankind—and the negative forces that have risen to resist the divine purpose. To transform the school into a true center of learning, we’ll also take the next step in systematically testing our knowledge

A rhythm of community life should gradually emerge, then, commensurate with the capacity of an expanding nucleus of individuals committed to Bahá’u’lláh’s vision of a new World Order. The Universal House of Justice Ridvan Message 2010 of these spiritual forces, drawn from the Bahá'í Revelation. Our laboratory will be the social space of the school. Can we not, united by our common aspirations and by our commitments to support each other, make the love we radiate for one another prove the effectiveness of Bahá'u'lláh’s Teachings?

Youth and young adults will have a safe space to discuss how to apply spiritual principles to their daily conduct, life choices and decisions about relationships. GENERAL STUDY PROGRAM ! Potent spiritual forces are influencing the dramatic changes taking place in the world today. What do the Bahá'í Writings say about the nature of these forces? This is the focus of a recent book by Hooper Dunbar titled Forces of Our Time. As this year’s guest speaker Mr. Dunbar will present select themes from his book, which participants will study in-depth in small groups.
