PROJECT BRIEF AND LOCATION ISSUE STORYBOARD
Situated in a city park, the site is a huge field of an empty land. Thus, making any kind of building that is constructed there to be monumental. The building will take it full opportunity to become a predominant landmark, while at the same time has the capability to host its user daily life.
Simply the projected building must be able to extend its capability not only as a host for a little family, but towards a larger social fabric. In a brink of lacking social cohesion, the user’s family has adopted a larger-than-life persona with their tradition of permaculture. Using this as a basis, it would be optimal if the house can have a shared space on one of its portion. The house was meant to be full.
METHODS OF FORM-FINDING
The design process as a step-by-step. showcasing how the design form correspond within the given context while slowly finding its equilibrium.
FIRST FLOOR PLAN
The first floor of Mangundwipa is designed to address and cater an overall provocative degree of exposure in order to sustain more meaningful activity outside the house, while keeping a remote distance from it.
SECOND FLOOR PLAN
The second floor of Mangundwipa is designed to address and cater an intricate spatial qualities by alluring the ins-and-outs of the building.
