Peg Perego Pliko Stroller Review - A Great Stroller for both Parents and Children You have most likely heard that the fashion world flocks to Milan Italy for all the modern designer clothes and shoes the same holds true for strollers. If you are looking for leading edge stroller functionality and a stroller that looks as good as it performs, then you should look for Peg Perego Strollers. And if you are shopping for a stroller that delivers the combination of comfort and durability, you should look at Peg Perego's Pliko stroller - a well-built, full-sized stroller that is easy to transport. Today we are reviewing Peg Perego's Pliko stroller. The Pliko is available in two designs - the P3 and the Switch. with standard features such as a lightweight aluminum frame, height adjustable handles, easy fold capabilities, a carrying handle and a large storage basket. Pliko strollers even have a rear footboard that allows older children to stand on the back of the stroller Being a full-sized stroller it's pretty surprising that the Pliko stroller weighs less than 17 pounds, given the light weight and easy fold capability, this stroller is a good traveling stroller. The Pliko stroller folds compactly so it can be easily stored in your car's trunk where space is usually limited. You unfold the Pliko stroller in two easy steps. First you pull up on its rear-backrest handle and second, with the wheels firmly on the ground, you push down on the handles until it locks. Your Pliko stroller is now folded into it's locked position now the Pliko stroller can be stood upright. This comes in handy when you want to prop the Pliko stroller up - out of everybody's way. i.e., for storage, in crowds, restaurants, etc. Peg Perego's Pliko stroller works with Peg Perego's Promo Viaggio SIP 30/30 infant car seat - sold separately. The Viaggio infant car seat locks into the Pliko stroller quite easily to keep your child safe and secure. With the Pliko / Viaggio set up you can easily transfer your child from your car to your stroller, and visa versa, without disturbing your child. When your child has out-grown his or her infant car seat, the Pliko stroller is there with a comfortable padded seat, Peg Perego's unique 5-point "Freedom of Movement" harness, a four-position reclining backrest, a two-position, height adjustable footrest, and with other great stroller features that gives your child a comfortable ride. Once you have your young child and the Viaggio infant car seat safely in the Pliko stroller you have two canopies that can be pulled together to fully enclose your child which protects him or her from the wind, rain and / or the sun. Pliko's hood has a viewing window that helps you to keep an eye on your child. When you are strolling in fair weather, you can remove the hood altogether for a great view and lots of fresh air. All strollers should have some sort of child tray and cup holders for both the child and the parent. The Pliko stroller covers this 'requirement' quite nicely. The Pliko stroller has a removable child tray and two cup holders that swivel out of the way when loading / unloading your child into / out of your stroller. The child tray and cup holders fold up with your stroller. The Stroller Shop highly recommends Peg Perego products especially the Pliko stroller. Its a great stroller that offers you and your child a great strolling experience. I have the car seat and the pliko switch stroller. The stroller is great, car seat snaps on easily and it’s got adjustible handlebars which are important for me because I’m tall. One issue is that we have is that we live in Chicago and the sidewalks here are crappy in some areas, so we can’t really use the stroller for too much longer otherwise I’m afraid that the wheels will get worn down. So if you’re going to be using the stoller a lot on city sidewalks, I suggest getting a jogging stroller…we’re getting the BOB but there are other more inexpensive models out there that are probably just as good. Ella Bella's Mommy: February 7, 2012 at 5:51 am Which double strollers hold a Peg Perego car seat? I am looking for a double stroller, preferably side-by-side. I have a new baby on the way and the two of them will be 18 months apart. I already have a Peg Perego infant car seat and would like to continue to use it. I also have the Peg Perego Pliko stroller and love it. I have read some mixed reviews on the Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40 Stroller. Any thoughts on some additional models or strollers that will hold the Peg Perego car seat? FYI – I found that the City Mini Double Stroller fits the Peg Perego car seat with an adapter. Reply
sk_quest: March 14, 2012 at 4:39 pm Anything pricey that has an adapter…. not sure which brands those are, but they are all costly. The problem with Peg’s is the way the notches are on the bottom of the car seat makes them incompatible with most strollers on the market. Reply
babe586: February 14, 2012 at 12:17 am What car seats can attach to a Peg Perego Uno Stroller? If I don’t get a Prmo Viagio (the Peg Perego car seat), do you know if I can easily and safely use another brand? ie: Graco or Evenflo? I was given the other two seats from my brother and would rather not pay for an additional seat if these two work. Reply
sk_quest: February 19, 2012 at 2:08 pm Not safely. Peg Perego products are only meant to accomodate other Peg Perego products. The problem with other car seats is that the bottom of each
one has a set of “divets” for lack of a better word that clip onto a tray or another part of the stroller; with Peg Peregos these are in a completely different spot (the very bottom) rather than on the back at an angle like most other car seats. Essentially, you could wedge another brand of car seat into the stroller, but it would not attatch and would therefore not be safe. Reply
Wildcat: February 16, 2012 at 6:15 am Does anyone know what bunting fits a peg perego infant car seat with SIP? I have a 2008 Peg Perego Viaggo with the Side Impact Protection. I just purchase a JJ Cole Bundle Me – but can’t get it to work with the SIP wings. Anybody else out there have this seat – what car seat cover/bunting do you have? Reply
Christine: March 9, 2012 at 8:09 pm Please do not use any buntings or anything that goes behind your baby in the car seat. Use just plain old blankets. The straps will have to be loosened to accomodate the bunting and in a crash the bunting will compress leaving the straps too loose and leaving your baby at risk. Please just get a nice fleece blanket and drape it over baby and then tuck it in. Good luck Reply
psrmorton: February 26, 2012 at 2:45 pm Does a peg perego car seat fit in a graco stroller? We need a double stroller and have a peg car seat. We would like to avoid buying a peg stroller as it’s $$$ and we have been offered the loan of a graco. thanks. Reply
CK: February 26, 2012 at 2:58 pm Not sure, but I can tell you the peg perego strollers are AWFUL, so hopefully it will work with another brand. Reply

Does anyone know if a Peg Perego car seat can be used on a Graco stroller? I have a Peg Perego carseat and am haivng another baby; I don’t like my Aria stroller so I was going to get a Graco Duo Glider Stroller. I cannot figure out however if there is anyway to use my carseat/carrier with this stroller? HELP? Reply
likesbrazilians: March 8, 2012 at 12:14 am Not safely. You should invest in a Graco car seat (or just buy a new travel system) or stick it out with your Peg Perego. There will be some patterns discontinuing soon, so keep an eye on prices of Graco products. Reply
Mommy1234: February 29, 2012 at 10:18 am Peg Perego Aria 60/40 and Graco Car Seat? i’m interested in this double stroller, even though the detail description says that it’s compatible with their peg perego car seat, I compared their car seat to my Graco and they seem fairly similar. So I was wondering if any of you out there has gotten this stroller (2010 model) and have been able to use it with a Graco Snugride Car seat. Reply
debhosc: March 4, 2012 at 9:35 pm I will be taking my newborn home from hospital in a few days. I have a peg perego car seat? will this be ok for such a small little person or do I need to to have it padded in some way. If I need to do this are there any suggestions on what I might use. Thanks in advance for any info. Reply
Sit'nTeach'nNanny: March 21, 2012 at 10:29 am It’s fine. You don’t need to pad it–it’s a rear facing infant seat. Just make sure the base is installed. Reply

Peg perego infant car seat and compatible double stroller? I have the peg perego primo viaggio 30/30 car seat. Does anyone know of a compatible double sit n stand stroller? I am due any day with our second – our first is 2. I really like the baby trend sit ‘n stand plus strollers but I am told that they are not compatible with the peg perego 30/30 car seat. Would greatly appreciate the help!!! Reply
~Ariana~: March 13, 2012 at 3:59 am I was looking at a website and they say it’s compatible with Peg carseats.. maybe it’s not with your specific model… I would suggest to just get a double stroller… have you considered the Peg Aria twin?? It’s a side by side double stroller that fits all peg carseats and it fully reclines for your newborn and it’s still comfy for your toddler. Even though your toddler is now 2 maybe for longer trips or outings you may wanna think something that’s more comfortable than a sit n stand.. here’s the link.. Good Luck!! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3425307 Reply

But on the site it doesn’t say anything about it having a car seat adapter other then for the peg perego car seat… does anyone know anything about this? Reply
