Letter from the Editor Colors can evoke strong feelings, and they have different effects on different people. There are many different moods and emotions traditionally associated with colors. Reds are associated with love or anger, orange with warmth or enthusiasm, and yellow is always considered a "happy" color. But it's so much more than that. Blue doesn't have to be known for sadness, and grey certainly doesn't just mean old age and grief. There are many shades of color and they mean so much more than just a label. For me, any color can lighten a mood, improve confidence, or just make a strong statement of intention. Color should be able to be worn at all times no matter what the season. Why do we have to follow certain seasonal guidelines to wear specific color palettes? A/W 18/19 is going to take you through the ways to wear any color you desire through the fall months and still be considered trendy. It's going to take you through the exploration of the color options we have and will encourage us to be bold with our choices. Grounded, Peaches And Cream, Jungle, and Blank will take you through the many ways to wear color through A/W 18/19 and to avoid putting labels and restrictions on your self expression with your color choices. -Gillian Ware
