GRANT EMBRACES RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGY TO HEAT IRISH PROPERTIES

Irelandʼs leading heating appliance manufacturer Grant, is preparing for heating requirements of the future by ensuring all its heating technologies can be renewable. Following the latest company announcement that the award-winning Grant Vortex boiler range is now able to run using 100% HVO, this means that the manufacturer has largely transformed into a fully renewable heating company. This is reflected through Grantʼs diverse product range which includes, ranges of biofuel ready condensing boilers, condensing wood pellet boilers, solar thermal panels, underfloor heating, hot water cylinders, aluminium radiators, and air to water air source heat pumps.

“As a company we remain committed to helping those working on new build and upgrade projects throughout Ireland to reduce their carbon footprint and prepare their properties for the future. The Grant R&D team is dedicated to continuing its research of alternative synthetic liquid fuels and biofuels and welcomes any potential partnerships which could further the development of innovative renewable heating technologies. That may include liquid fuel, biomass, solar thermal, refrigerant, combustion, condensing and hybrid technology,” said Grant founder, Stephen Grant.

Grant offers an innovative range of technologies that can be used as the main heat source in Irish properties of all shapes and sizes, including the biofuel compatible Grant Vortex condensing boiler and the A+++ Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump ranges. Grantʼs A+++ Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump is a clean and more environmentally friendly product as it can lower a propertyʼs overall carbon footprint. Available in four outputs, the Grant Aerona3 R32 13kW and 17kW models have also been recognised by Quiet Mark for their quiet operation. A Grant Vortex boiler provides a cost-effective option for those upgrading their boiler and is available in 63 diverse types with outputs from 12 – 70kW. The Grant Vortex boiler has been developed in a series of models including utility, external, boiler house and wall hung to ensure there is a product model to suit the heating requirements of both smaller and larger scale properties. Grantʼs recent R&D breakthrough has ensured the complete Vortex range is ready for future heating needs and requirements, as the technologies can now efficiently run using renewable HVO, through making a slight modification to the boiler. It is now also possible to adapt older Grant condensing boilers to HVO by having a new biofuel burner, matched with the specific boiler model, installed by a service engineer as part of an annual service.

Those working on new build or heating upgrade projects can feel reassured that Grant can provide them with a full range of sustainable heating technologies for their heating project which includes a main heat source, heat emitters, hot water storage and supporting technologies all from a brand they can trust.
