MICHELIN GINETTA GT SUPERCUP
Now in its fourth year, the recently revamped series, which was previously known as the Ginetta G50 Cup, is the perfect stepping stone into the hotly contested GT3 and GT4 arena. Ginetta G50 and G55 race cars compete in full grids and with separate points systems to ensure the very closest racing. The 2011 season runs across ten weekends, all part of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). In 2010, over 350,000 people attended the ten rounds, whilst ITV coverage reached over 11 million viewers in the UK. This provides the perfect platform for drivers to display their talents and once again provides an attractive proposition to sponsors. The G50 Champion will receive a free lease of a G55 for the 2012 season whilst the G55 Champion will benefit from one of the biggest prizes in motorsport - a fully funded season competing in the BTCC.
