TRIANGULATION IN LA BOCA, BUENOS AIRES (AR) La Boca in Buenos Aires is one of the most touristic and famous neighborhood of the city, thanks to his colored houses that surround El Caminito, the main street where the tangueros play their dance all day long. Outside el Caminito, the neighborhood totally change, becoming less touristic, more dangerous and poorer. The project aim is to improve the quality of the entire neighborhood of la Boca, creating a new scenario for the city and for the visitors. In order to spread the strong identity of El Caminito, the project develop an entire system of path on different levels, with the ďŹ nal goal of generate a urban and multifunctional park that colonize all the urban tissue, exploiting the building roof as a standing point.
ROMANS REFLECTIONS, VILLA ADRIANA_TIVOLI Building in an archeological site is always a delicate issue; all the little sign left by the time become a strong input for starting the new design. And this project represents the result of this process: in a hidden and not-accessible area of Villa Adriana (Tivoli), three big substructure arches and some small pieces of walls(built in the Adrian era, II centuryd.C.) become the main marks for the project of a thermal and exhibition pavilion. The architecture is combined by the alternation of indoor and outdoor spaces: the covered main entrance with the restaurant, the outdoor swimming pool, the indoor swimming pool and chaging room, and in the end a terraced garden with a hidden fountain. The covered spaces are characterized by cannon a lumiere roof, that create a different diffusion of the light in the spaces, helpingto generate a comfortable and embracing atmosphere for the thermal areas. The project create a strong relationship with the surroundings, imitating in the façade the rhythm of the preexisting arches, becoming a concrete greek stoà that runs all along the perimetral boundary, delimitating from the high change of the terrain

LIVING IN A SKELETON, VIA ADRIANO_MILANO How is possible to transform a concrete skeleton structured in a TSR (Temporary Social Residence)? One of the main aim of the project supports the diversity of the developing district and aspires to bring the city inside the building, in order to create a dense space for a cultural exchange and an harmonic life sharing. The space is shaped by different units of identity (primary use) which are surrounded by the oating public space (secondary use). This space is designed like a street in a city where people can come together to share they daily life. The new design consists of different modules, based on an uniform grid (a multiple of the smallest unit, 1m by 1m.) which are insert in the exiting structure. Each module has an indepdent construction and it is structured by elements which are framing the space. Each unit consists of an installation core with the bathroom framed by a concrete construction and arranges the space in two different layers: The private and the in between zone. The in between zone connected the public with the private space by means of wood and polycarbonate exible walls.
A DESIGN CONCEPT FOR BALMAIN BRAND, BAL HARBOUR SHOPS_MIAMI The master’s final thesis focused on the theme of Architecture for fashion retail. The research has been developed both from a theoretical and design point of view, being in direct contact with the luxury fashion brand Balmain, that provided private material, such as architectonic drawings and commercial needs (SKU), regarding the new Miami location, where the Label has just opened its flagship store. The design of the 300 sqm boutique has been conceived respecting and reinterpretating the traditional and iconic features of the Brand, taking inspiration from the architecture of the Hotel Particulier and from the French culture. The project has been studied starting from the scale of 1:50, and arriving to the design of some interior and furniture details in scale 1:5, 1:2 and 1:1.
FASHION FOR FASHION, DOLCE & GABBANA STORE_CHICAGO Nowadays luxury brands in fashion aim to capture the attention of the client but not only: they must be a recognizable image to all. One way for spreading the brand image is through the design of the shops, that should differentiate a particular label from another. The design for the Dolce & Gabbana façade have been preceded by a study of the brand, for understanding the philosophy and create a concept able to represent the label. The façade take inspiration from the Sicilian liberty style and from the famous crowns designed by the brand. The envelope is constituted by a double skin: the first one is a silicon structural glassed faced, to which is hanged through a steel plate a second layer, made by inclined and curved steel profiles that frame a colored glass backlit by a LED panel.
FESTIVAL LOOK, TERRAFORMA_VILLA ARCONATI Terraforma is an international music festival consacred to the artistic experimentation with a strong attenction to enrivomental sustainability. The Festival take place every year since 2014 in the park of Villa Arconati, near by Milan. During 2018, as Politecnico students, me and some collegues had the opportunity to design and develop wooden furniture to support the festival activities and be enjoyed by the users during the three-non stop music-days. The design has produced different sitting/laying/standing devices, taking in consideration the “festival users behaviours, the grade of intimacy or interaction that each module implied, but mostly paying particular attention to the technical and building detail of each furniture. In fact the desing phase ended in the physical auto-construction of the modules, in the respect of the festival principles, by using excess wood.
RANDOM DIAGRAMS FLUX _ DENSITY _ FUNCTIONALITY ANALYSIS Some random diagrams / graphic exiperimentations produced during University Master’s courses. Translation of theories and ideas into drawings / graphic is what has charactherized my five years formation path, concentrating on the details and final visive output of the whole design.
