CONCEPT Gyroscope A gyroscope is a device used for measuring or maintaining orientation and angular velocity. It is a spinning wheel or disc in which the axis of rotation is free to assume any orientation by itself. When rotating, the orientation of this axis is unaffected by tilting or rotation of the mounting.


The Circle Project A natural phenomenon able to defy gravity and always find a state of perfect equilibrium, without losing its movement. Immersive ride experience Applying that process to my exercise bike, The Circle becomes a true bike able to emulate all the movements of a open air ride.

If the rider leans left, a force will be produced and caused the unbalancing of the vehicle to the left. The centrifugal force associated with the turn does tend to push the bicycle back toward the vertical, without acts on the speed. F

Point of gravity is made by the forces working on the cyclette.

The spring counteracts the body weight and the force applied by the cyclist.

1- Inclination Mechanical movement The tension of the spring is adjustable in order to make the bike usable by different body weights.

Turn the spring’s wheel, setting your weight. (SET SPRING’S FORCE)

The spring controls the pedaling’s applied force with a contrasting force.

That create a balanced center of gravity to prevent tipping and easily return to position.


2- Up & Down Automatic movement The three components work together in order to make the illusion of a real ride, full of ascent and descent movement. The coordinated action is controlled by the chosen path, so also the video projection collaborates in this process.

Pedals A FOCUS ON THE FEET The pedal box oscillates on the host lane forward and backward automatically. The movement is determined by the inclination that the rider must assume, coordinating with the saddle movement.


Synchronized movement Pedals, seat and screen work together to stimulate all the senses for a full real experience.

The height of the saddle allows the descent movement of it, when the pedals slide forward.

The opposite movement maintains the distance constant between the two components.
