PULSE

BRIEF

DESIGN SOLUTION

Mares, historical company of clothing and accessories for diving, requires a new fins, easy to wear, which avoids the problem of additional wear shoes, but at the same time it is firmly attached to the foot. Moreover it has been asked to find a solution to increase the power of foot pushing.

I thought to realize a fin with a faster closure, providing a mechanism used for snowboard boots, and shaping it in order to have greater surface in the point of greatest strength, and by applying a part made of silicone to give momentum in foot pushing.

WATTERY

BRIEF

DESIGN SOLUTION

Design a sustainable and functional I have designed a lamp refugee camp light using alternative energy sources. that does not consume electricity; the heat of the sun warms up a container of water which activates the Peltier cells, that swich to LEDs light and the light bulb acts as a Fresnel lens for amplifying the light intensity.

EQUATORIAL BAND IS THE HOTTEST PLACE IN THE PLANET BUT IT IS ALSO THE LESS ILLUMINATED, BEYOND TODAY ABOUT 1.3 BILLION PEOPLE DO NOT EVEN HAVE ACCESS TO CONSUMPTION OF ‘BASIC’ ELECTRICITY. OUT OF THESE 1,300 MILLION, 590 MILLION PEOPLE LIVE IN SUB-SAHARAN AREA.

SOLAR ENERGY IS EXPLOITED MUCH AND IN SO MANY WAYS

THERE ARE MANY PROJECTS THAT USE THE WORK OF PELTIER CELL TO CREATE AND USE ENERGY

PROCESS

Sunlight is reflected on the mirror

TESTING

The water heats up

The heat activates the cells of peltier

The energy produced turns on the light bulb

The light is refracted through a Fresnel lens

IN2

BRIEF

DESIGN SOLUTION

The design trends feed the spirit of purely individualistic society. An isolation of the individual getting stronger and more rooted: everyone does things in a total autonomy losing, in some ways, propensity mutual collaboration belonging to normal socialization.

IN2 The project was born from the desire to develop a line of experimental objects that force you to use them together with another person. I thought, therefore, to create this line of objects whose purpose is to increase socialization and interpersonal interaction in an ironic and funny way.

KEPLER Kepler is a seat, is designed for people who want to live together the moment of sitting; it obliges the two parties to rely on each other for support. It consists of two identical elements and it’s compact. The concept was born from the need of releasethe weight along the spine when you are standing, and the search for sharing small moments of life. Sharing is another mutually surrender, finding that stability can be achieved only in two.

NEWTON Newton table is think for share mealtimes with irony and practicality, the concept is designed to use a table top exploit opposite tension created by two people. It consists of two rigid rectangular elements and two ribbons for tying on waistline, it can also close and roll to be stored easily in your bag. You will discover that eating two and share this moment can make all the difference.

EDISON Edison is a double seat that takes away the introverts, it is composed of a metal structure made of steel rod bent to which there is simply sewn around the fabric. To be able to sit in this chair you necessarily need another person, to the contrary, if a single person would sit on it, it will collapse under its own weight, and he will be forced to counterbalance with another person. Sometimes when you are forced to get close to other people and you just need to give up a bit ‘of fear, perhaps with irony!

Ă˜ WASTE

BRIEF

DESIGN SOLUTION

The project is in collaboration with Viotti; the company requires the design of a means of collecting liquid and solid waste in the sea, in particular they think to use it as cleaning tool for private beaches. The medium must be easy to produce, transport and handle.

Starting to the fact that there are 27 floating garbage every km2, I thought of a medium/small,handy as a personal watercraft, but able to collect and absorb waste as an ecoboat. Small and easy to produce in rotational molding, it is simple and convenient to carry.

BRICE

BRIEF

DESIGN SOLUTION

The project in collaboration with Techlab and “Iscream Festival Poirino It requires the design of a bin which solves the problem, of the differentiated collection of paper and plastic after the use of cups and vanes used for the consumption of the ice cream. Designing an innovative way to solve the need, creating an interaction between object and person.

For this project I designed and prototyped urchin wood with a dome of interchangeable foam above. You will throw when his refusal throw the cup into the paper and stick the paddle in the foam, each pallet is a sting, and it creates an interaction, that bring people to differentiate the rejection and try to involve others to do so to observe the final effect.

PROTOTYPING After shaped brince in a 3d software, i lasercutted all section and i’ve joint these with glue afterwards i’ve poished the model.
