My knitwear path started two years ago. I mainly used the brother domestic knitting machine. Over the years I decided to experiment a lot on all types of yarns and their characteristics, starting from merino wool up to optical fibers. Among all the disciplines present in the portfolio this is the one that attracted me the most.
Corpuscolo 2018/2019, Politecnico of Milan
For my graduation work I analyzed the three main body tissues: adipose tissue, muscle tissue, bone tissue. I analyzed the possible developments within a collection, taking inspiration for the shapes, the lightness of the volumes but also the strong visual imprint of the patterns, noticing the characteristics of each of them. I wanted to bring forward in this collection. The main colors start from the skin color palette until inside the blood veines. Every tissue has a story that I wanted to tell and describe visually. Mutualism
2017/2018, Politecnico of Milan
The roots of african american culture can be unfortunately found in the slave trade. It had two main harbours as reference point: New York and New Orleans, where the black comunity kept growing larger and larger since the making of the Harlem and Bayou neighbourhood. Harlem became the symbol of integration, fill with traditions. It born in this place Hip-Hop music, break dance, glomourous style, briht colors and 90’s. New Orleans showed the repression from the oppressors to the black comunity who shutting themself in obscure and esoteric vodoo in a veiled rage. Topic KNITWEAR COLLECTION FOR MISSONI SS18

I took inspiration from the geometric patterns of some famous designers like,Miyake,Yamamoto,Balenciaga. I experimented with some innovative materials that were not suitable for the real fashion system. I develped these two strands simultaneously. The fabric was the sails fabric of the ships. It has been chosen for its rigidity and the technical aspects. Knitwear was also connected to the creation of a dress, bra and a scarf. Following the jacket all the patterns were geometric and better dress the body. Topic AVANGARDE COLLECTION

My fashion path started before the university began. I have always been in love with the pattern making that generate exaggerated volumes and defined geometric shapes. In the university course, however, the thing that fascinated me most were the fabrics with their textures and their specific hands based on their texture or some specific finishing.
Babel
2016/2017, Politecnico of Milan
We imagined that, in 30 years, a new city will be built in the desert. A team made up of the best scientists in the world, through a nano polymer -nano argilla- will suc- ceed in both cultivating and building. e tower recalls, as already said by the biblical name, the building of Babel. Four teams were composed to address individual needs. Each of them designed according to the work function which was to carry out. Topic JACKET OF THE FUTURE

Helter skelter
2016/2017, Politecnico of Milan
From three icons of the 50s’, Bettie Page, Diane Arbus and Natalie Wood, three collections were conceived for RED Valentino. The most important thing was to maintain what has been this decade in fashion, and transpose it into our years. We have therefore decided to maintain some iconic elements, like the high waist while maintaining the RED stylus, short volumes and transparency overlaps. Colors were faithfully portrait in the pastel colors of the time. Topic FA S H I O N C O L L E C T I O N FOR RED VALENTINO SS17

TECHNICAL DRAWINGS a very important point of the project concerned the industrialization of garments. The technicians had to be executed with great precision.
Knitwearlab
2018, Intershiip Knitwear lab, Almere
As soon as I graduated, I’ve started the ‘Knitwear lab experience’. In this Dutch studio, near Amsterdam I met Thijs and Cherrish, two of the most important knitwear designers from all the Netherlands. Seeing the Stoolva machines really at work I understood the possibilities and the critical aspects of an industrial production. So I learned how to fix these machines, thread them, clean them and lightly how to program them. The archive of this Lab was incredible and thanks to my two masters I tried to understand more and more all the features even deeper. Topic KNITWEAR INTERSHIP
