Cemetery trusts are responsible for the proper and efficient management of the public cemeteries under their control, including planning for future cemeteries services and the preservation of local history. Being appointed to a cemetery trust provides successful applicants with a unique opportunity to develop their competencies as a board member. The Department of Health provides free governance training to all trust members. About the opportunity

Assist with all aspects of the warehouse functions and inventory management associated with the operation of the power station. What you’ll do

Use the MMS to maintain for tracking of Purchase Orders, Stock Requests,

Inventory Locations Accurate and timely receipting of incoming materials verifying the quantity.

Quality inspections where required are to be completed and entered into MMS in a timely manner. Operate material handling equipment to unload deliveries of material, stock and equipment. Perform Purchasing Officer duties during periods of absence or as required. Knowledge and compliance of the handling and storage for stock items that must comply with their Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Ensure the delivery of Loy Yang B Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to allow continual improvement, reduced risk, safe plant and equipment, safe systems of work and minimal impacts on the environment.

What you’ll need

VCE or equivalent is preferred. Proven performance and experience in the warehousing function.
