My prayer is that this magazine blesses every person it reaches. I believe in motivating, inspiring and encouraging women to be all that God has called them to be. In this issue I decided to recognize some amazing women that are in my circle. So many times women go unnoticed for the things they do and have achieved. As you read their stories I hope it encourages you to follow your dreams and go after everything God has for you! Check your circle make sure they are forcing you to level up! Be Blessed!

It's not the "ceremony" that's important; it's the couple's covenant commitment before God and men. Make sure you are ready to commit to spending the rest of your life with one partner. This commitment to spending the rest of your life with someone is not an easy decision. It’s a life-long commitment. During your married life, you both will grow old and change. This is the person you will spend the rest of your life with growing together. The wedding is all of 30 minutes, but marriage is a lifetime. Marriage requires the ability to compromise. Being able to understand that you cannot be selfish and understand it does not have to be your way all the time. If not, your marriage will not be good. If you cannot be faithful to one partner, do not bother about getting married. The future will not be great for your marriage. Sharing the same Christian values is the most important piece of most successful marriages. Is this person good for the purpose God has for my life? By sharing the same beliefs, you will have another way to grow, and help each other spiritually.
For Christians, marriage goes beyond any natural covenant. It is a spiritual representation of our relationship with God. In marriage are you willing to communicate what you want in life, your goals, dreams, career, or family? When you marry someone, you are agreeing to help each other live a fulfilling life and should be interested in many things they like. That’s what attracted you to one another. Of course, you will have some differences, but your differences should compliment each other. Are you even willing to put the other persons needs above your wants? Long before the marriage there are many things necessary to discuss. The Bible talks about temptations in 1 Corinthians 7:1-2 Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. Simply put, no marriage no sex! Is he willing to wait until the wedding day?
"MONEY PROBLEMS IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS WHY MARRIED COUPLES GET DIVORCED"
WRITTEN BY: CO-PASTOR DAROLYN BROCK
While dating you should know if this relationship goes further, do you want to share your finances together or have separate accounts? Therefore, ensure you are open and honest when it comes to your bills, debts and finances. Money problems is one of the main reasons why married couples get divorced. What if he wants kids and you don’t or vice versa? If you have issues with compromise, being faithful to one person, yielding your independence and you enjoy being single and see yourself being that way for the rest of our life it's okay. If you are not ready to commit, be selfless, learn, work hard, obey the word of God and pray to make your marriage a healthy, happy, and lasting one, marriage might not be for you! Marriage is not for everybody! Darolyn Brock is the Co- Pastor of Success in Life Ministries. Growing up as a kid, one of my favorite things to do was watching my mom cook. She was not only an amazing cook, but she made everything from scratch. What I didn’t know in my younger age was how much she enjoyed cooking. She used to stand back and watch as my siblings and I took our first bite of food before she sat down and began eating hers. As I got older and started learning to cook myself I later understood the reason why she stood back and watched us eat. I learned that the look on our face let my mom know how much we appreciated what she had prepared for us and just how good it was. Now that I am older and my culinary skills have improved tremendously, it is now my turn to stand back and watch as my friends, family, and customers enjoy my cooking. The joys of life! Today I am going to share with you some of my favorite recipes that are not only quick, but have been a big hit at my dinner parties. I’m sure they will become one of your favorites as well. Bon Appetit
In a large pot add your red wine, sugar, orange slices, spices and bring to a boil. Make sure the pot you use is large enough to hold several halved pears. Once the ingredients have come to a boiling point, reduce heat to a simmer. While liquid simmers, peel pears, cut in half and core leaving the stems attached if possible. Place pears into the simmering poaching liquid for 30-60 minutes depending on the size and ripeness of the pear cook until fork tender. While pears are poaching, now its time to make your fresh whipped cream! Put heavy cream, confectioner's sugar, and vanilla extract into a large bowl, whisk briskly intil fluffy, but don't over whip. Once it's the consistency of whipped cream, refrigerate until pears are ready. once pears are poached, carefully move esch halved pear to a plate and top with whipped cream and garnish with a dust of ground cinnamon. Enjoy!

STRIVING IN SISTERHOOD Striving in Sisterhood is a movement whereby women learn to cultivate and embrace healthy friendships through biblical sisterhood. It's important to practice maintaining healthy relationships and that is a personal decision for each woman. The key to healthy relationships is faith, self-discovery, character sharpening, vulnerability, kindness, forgiveness, respect and understanding all levels of friendship. Women of all backgrounds, ages and stages of life have walked away from the Striving In Sisterhood events excited and empowered to apply her responsibility of sisterhood. Each woman must seek to uncover her own God given uniqueness in sisterhood. All women must learn to add value in every relationship that she encounters.

STYLEMINIMALIST Article by Nikki Wilson Hello November! Autumn is my favorite time of the year, Autumn represents the seasons changing from hot summer heat, where you focus on keeping cool by wearing the bare minimum to keeping warm by layering it up. I live in Texas so we don’t get to layer up that often but when I get the chance to “I am totally here for it!” While I don’t consider myself to be an “on trend” type of person, meaning I don’t flock to what’s hip or popular at a certain time. I’m more of a stylish type. Style goes beyond just clothes, its personality, attitude and just all-around swag. I look for pieces that will last throughout time and can be mixed with other pieces to take the look to another level. Fall clothing is all about jackets, scarves, tights, and the right pair of boots. These are all staple pieces that can be intermixed with other basics to create a number of looks. And don’t you dare forget about the Tur-Tle-neck! That’s right I believe your wardrobe is not complete without at least one black turtleneck, or ivory, or pink, or grey… ok you get the point. “I’m in LOVE with the turtleneck” (not the CoCo ..insider “oookay.”) Anyways if you don’t have one, go out and get one, or two, or some. LOL… I couldn’t resist!!! Enough with the turtlenecks. They just make you look so chic and sophisticated and who wouldn’t be a fan of that.
I guess I should tell you upfront I am a fashionista on a budget, as of lately. That’s right I’ve come to the conclusion that I was never the shopper with champagne taste on a wine cooler budget. I’d just rob the piggy bank! “Hey don’t judge me” we all have our vices, I’m just honest about mines. Always remember you can transform and recycle things from your closet this Fall season. That won’t have you breaking the piggy bank. And yes…. they should include the turtleneck.

While growing up I was pretty much raised in the church. As I got older it was pretty much understood why I've always enjoyed being involved in church, community choirs, and other various organizations being able to assist and help others. I enjoy traveling and visiting different states. In 2000 I relocated to Huntsville Alabama where I lived for the next twelve years prior to relocating to Arlington Texas. Since being here in Texas I've explored lots of different things that I enjoy doing such as modeling. I've been modeling since 2009 and I really enjoy it. I have had the opportunity to participate in many shows and shoots over the years. One of my many passions that I have learned to love is the Community Choir that I am a part of. Marquinn Middleton and Miracle Chorale is so awesome to me. I was introduced to the choir nearly three years ago and have been a member since. We travel the world, literally. Being a part of this Amazing ministry has made me accountable for a lot of decisions and choices that I choose to make in life. One of my other joys is feeding and helping the homeless. I go to the downtown Fort Worth Texas areas as well as several other surrounding areas to feed the homeless. It brings great joy to my heart in knowing that I was able to help them in some way. I love being able to encourage and bless others. In 2015 I was blessed with my first grandchild. A handsome little boy named Eli. This little guy brings great joy to me. Him coming into my life made me realize that there's so much more love inside of me and I wanted to give it all to him. I wanted him to experience so much in life. 2016 came my little princess Evelyn. My second grandbaby. This little girl will enlighten anyone's day with her beautiful smile to her bright and vibrant personality. I absolutely love being a grandmother to these two. Since residing in Texas I've really come out of my shell, so to say. Texas has been good to me and I can see myself here for quite some time. I love the life, good and bad, that God has blessed me with.
