Our beloved Cayman Islands have been known as the most beautiful place in the world, especially because of its sparking white beaches and clean environment. We are therefore eager to jump start the Beautification Committee and work towards regaining the Cayman Islands former reputation of being not just special, but clean and litter-free Islands. The Cayman Islands Beautification Committee therefore looks forward not only to the support of the Government Ministries and its many relevant Departments, but also of Her Excellency, the Governor. The Beautification Committee therefore pleads with each and every one not to break the Litter Law (or any other laws of the Cayman Islands for that matter) but instead to take pride in and willingly do their part to Keep Cayman Clean and Green.
CAYMAN ISLANDS BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE March 2016
Islands in the Sun
Sparkling White Sands
Cayman……our Islands in the sun
Sparking white sands and clear blue seas
Let’s work together……everyone!
Banana Orchids and Silver Thatch trees,
Each doing a part to improve the scene,
Beautiful parrots and blue iguanas too,
Let’s keep Cayman clean and green!
Make Cayman a home for me and you -
So let’s keep Cayman clean and green!
Oh, Cayman, in the sun…… Many hands and the work is done -
People who care about where they live,
Respect, pride and love will be seen,
Will never litter, but instead they’ll give
Let’s keep Cayman……..clean and green!
A helping hand wherever they can,
All for the good of our home…… Cayman!
So……let’s keep Cayman clean and green!
