of the Milan HQ of a company ,

wellknown in the fashion industry , in the Morimondo 23 complex , which was finished in 2009. Milan , March 2019-

A metallic sculptural object , constructed independently , suspended from a visible , external , steel structure that almost resembles the legs of a giant insect . It is the Sopralzo di Morimondo 23 , the new design created by the studio of Giuseppe Tortato Architetti , which was commissioned

by a famous Italian fashion house that wanted to use this area as a recreational space/ break area for their clients and employees. The Sopralzo ( or topmost element) is part of the work done at Morimondo 23 and , constructed on the top floor where there is an unobstructed view of the city , it was designed to take advantage of the area and maximize the space. The Morimondo

23 project , built in 2009 on a total area of around 8000 square meters , is a s courtyard houses consisting of a set of representative , unique contemporary re-envisioning of Milan' that have overcome the real estate crisis of the last decade , attracting the attention spaces brilliantly of prestigious

tenants.

s request (the campus is owned by Invest' Re Sgr and is managed by In Domus , as are the other student residences at Bicocca in the Lambrate area) Giuseppe Tortato Architetti developed and designed a project for the complete restyling of the building interiors , starting with the common At the

client'

areas . The goal was to renovate the

complex'

s image and at the same time make it more welcoming.

The firm completely rethought the organization of the interior spaces , paying special attention to the common areas , creating casual and colorful zones through the use of furniture clusters' and '

industrial-style materials . These choices make it a pleasurable and useful space for those interested in studying as well as for those who want to socialize , just hanging out or playing a game of table soccer or foosball. The new organization of the interior areas also reflects the architectural firm' s philosophy , which is focused on the wellbeing of the people who are interacting with the spaces designed: there are new views overlooking the municipal park , increasing the amount of natural light entering the building throughout

the day.

The central building and the ground floors of the two towers have now been adapted to house reception and common areas as well as gathering places . Here you will find spaces like the study rooms reserved for guests of the campus , with a smaller room intended to accommodate up to 15 people and a larger one that can seat about 40 ; the designated window overlooking the square , and finally the kitchen area.

project also involved new colors for the walls and furniture . The goal for both the areas and the lounge was to create a sense of movement and elegance , using neutral

tones , lighting that was designed furniture chosen by the client.
