The Residence Life team would like to wish you a very warm welcome to University accommodation, your new home. Residence Life is organised exclusively for students living in the University residences (Endcliffe, Ranmoor or City) and covers everything from activities, events and sports, to support and conduct and skills and development. Residence Life exists to make your time in University residences epic! And the best part is... all activities and events are either completely free or a lot cheaper than you would find it elsewhere. All activities are open to everyone, regardless of where your accommodation is located so look out for your Residence Life key fob in your key collection pack as you will need this to get access to the events, activities and sports we host for you. This card will also get you a £2 discount on the entire Give it a Go programme* and £5 off the day trips, plus loads of other discounts and offers around campus.

Come and explore the Peak District for free with Residence Walks! We will show you that the Peak District is actually much closer than you would think! We will start at Endcliffe and pick up a path leading through Whitley Woods all the way to Fox House. This walk is student led and is suitable for all abilities. The walk is around 10 km long. Select ‘Residence Sport’: In order to access free activities, please click on ‘Residence Sport.’

Pick Activity: You will then see sports and activities that are available to book for this week. The bookings open 4 or 7 days in advance depending on the activity to make sure that everyone gets a chance to book each week.

Click ‘Book Activity’: If activity is not found, it is because the booking for the activity is not yet open or alternatively, it is fully booked.
