Faculty of Agriculture and Ecological Research Center Studio Project Agricultural life and stock-farming are already a part of the neighborhood. Locals are in need of a place for selling and sharing their products. Research center locates on upper elevation while the faculty is on lower elevations for being close to the campus. The main directions are towards the landscape view on South and towards the forest view on the West. The spaces between the faculty and the research center are the common spaces (workshops, cafe's, terraces etc.) where both user types can. gather in control. landscape. The front space of the faculty is left for agricultural activities for the students. academicians office building vertical farming ecological research center

High-rise Building Design Competition The site is located in 4. Levent, Istanbul, Turkey, one of the business districts with its overlapped roads. Situating between one of the highest buildings in Turkey, Sapphire ,with its own characteristic geometry, and Crystal Tower. Now being used as a parking space for public transportation, the site has lost its connection to the surrounding. The aim of the project X-hive, was to bound the area within its environment, balance the height difference that was caused by leaving space empty and designing a building that is remarkable. With its unique curvilinear lines, the X-hive dominates the site and the surrounding. Since the enclosing road of the site has high intensity traffic conditions, a bridge is designed to facilitate users’ access to X-hive as well as maintain the fluidity of the building’s form.

Faculty of Fine Arts Studio Project The faculty of Fine Arts locates in PaĹ&#x;abahçe, Beykoz, Istanbul., stands by the scenary of Bosphorus. In the analysis of the context, there are three zones on lateral direction and three zones on vertical. This project connects the zones and creates interaction with the local people and the students. The front square is an urban node where gathers people and directs them on different directions. These directions are, exhibition hall of the faculty, the amphi way through the glass mass, the seashore and the city park. The design idea had begun with the two domestic lines on the site.; the main road and the seashore. One building faces over the road where the other welcomes the visitors on passageway. Each building is able to have the scenary of the Bosphorus by their locations. The highest level of the building allocates on these main buildings and has an angle to the Bosphorus Bridge. The angles between the buildings are creating inner and outer squares which keeps the privacy between the visitors and the students. The city park over the hills are shaped with the sets where both students and the local people can spend their time with the view of the sea.

Ataşehir Youth Center The site is in Ataşehir, Istanbul , near to the subway station and between two main roads. The concept of the youth center has came up with the analysis of Ataşehir. My personal thought about the atmosphere was dull, grey and the site was full of the material concrete and lack of green area. I wanted to isolate the youth from the city and create an interaction between two buildings. Therefore, I started my design with creating a longitudinal axis starting from the subway station and goes towards to a green area. The angles of the roof have designed from the elevation to interact people from outside and glass slots opened on the facades which creates narrow daylights inside. Buildings have steel structure and composite panels.

The Façade

The occurred street between these buildings can be used for exhibiting, sitting or walking. Above the street the two buildings are connected to each other with glass triangle pergolas. The façades of the buildings’ angler glass openings complete the total appearance. The interior gets enough direct sunlight through these openings and create different atmosphere inside on different hours.

The site has 4 meters elevation difference between start point and end point. So, I started my design with dividing the elevation into two. A ramp with an exhibition wall is designed for this difference. The ground level floor is for the ateliers, cafes, library and exhibition halls. Ramp welcomes the visitors to a gathering space with cafes, the middle parts are used for library and on the opposite site an exhibition hall. The end point is for the sculpture and painting ateliers and an open air exhibition area. These ateliers’ walls are folded walls for interaction and gathering.
