Boerne offers a regular lineup of

local fine arts opportunities

For folks who enjoy a night on the town – as opposed to a night in the city – Boerne has its own reserves of local fine arts opportunities. Two high school choirs, both winners at highest competition levels, provide regular opportunities for nights of great vocals. The district’s middle school choirs, which score high competitively as well, do the same. Respected orchestral programs at the secondary school level also make for wonderful evenings of music. In fact, Boerne ISD’s entire music program has received national recognition, as well as individual performance honors. The vibrant Boerne Community Theatre, after about three decades of stage productions, provides even more excuses to get out of the house and into a liveevent venue with a strong cadre of adults and teens who consistently bring down the house.

Boerne Performing Arts puts together an annual schedule of entertainment that pleases audiences of all ages. Performances take place in the Champion High School Auditorium. Also, the Boerne Concert Band, a nonprofit organization that provides a venue for local musicians to present popular music for family-oriented audiences to enjoy, puts on several performances annually in the Boerne High School Auditorium. The concerts are free. The Patrick Heath Public Library hosts a Live! At the Library series of concerts and events for guests to enjoy as well as other programs.
