A Korean skin care company is breaking new ground in the industry by returning to its roots. Racinne Canada, a company based out of Korea, has developed a new way to make skin look younger and brighter. Racinne uses advanced biotechnology to extract plant stem cells, called plant callus extracts, found in the roots of certain plants. “The root is the most nutrient part,” says Vivian Lam, the business manager at Racinne Canada. “We use all of the plant callus extracts in our products, which help to regenerate and heal skin much quicker.” This method, called the callus cultivation technology, has taken scientists at Racinne seven years to perfect.
