Gladewater boys take first place at Hawkins Relays By Ellis Hayden The Gladewater boys track team dominated the Hawkins Hawk Relays by earning at least a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medals 9 of the 14 of the individual events and taking first place in all three relay events. As a team, Gladewater posted 161 points outdistancing its nearest competition Clarksville with 92 points. Malik Yulee took first place in both the 400 meter and 800 meter runs. Austin Hawley won the 100 meter hurdles and Daylon Gordon took first in the long jump. The Gladewater girls track team finished in fourth place as a team earning 63 points behind Sabine with 136 points, TK Gorman with 120 points and Arp with 77 points.
