PLAYTIME AT THE PRECINCT
Spending time playing with an adult can aid a child’s mental and physical development. Support your child’s social and communication skills by joining us for a morning of games, laughter and play at the Precinct. Make sure to wear a hat, apply sunscreen and bring along a water bottle. PlayTime occurs only during school term.

Providing a space that brings together community groups and service providers in a friendly parkland setting and offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively to deliver for our community, enabling access to resources and services.
OMMUNITIES AND FAMILIES PRECINCTGladstone Regional Council Council’s Engagement and Partnerships team is the centralised contact point to access information and advice on community engagement, community investment, community development, youth development and planning, sports and recreation, Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan, Gladstone Region Volunteering, Community Services Directory and Tax Help program. Gladstone Community and Neighbourhood Centre The Community and Neighbourhood Centre offers a central point of contact for community members to gain access to information and referrals on a range of services, activities and resources including emergency relief providers, financial counselling and education, health providers, NDIS providers, substance abuse support and more. The Salvation Army Gladstone The Salvation Army operate community services from two of the buildings within the Philip Street Precinct. The Salvation Army Community Centre encompasses 12 consulting rooms. Seven of the consult rooms are for hire, the other five are used to deliver the Connect/Doorways Program providing emergency relief and holistic case management, food bank, financial relief, social inclusion programs and faith-based pathways. Gladstone Region Communities for Children The Communities for Children program supports children and their families from diverse cultural backgrounds and aims to assist parents, carers and early childhood professionals to gain access to information, resources and training.
