WATER INTAKE Critical For Health & Milk Production During summer 2018, metered water intake was 121 litres/cow at Pallaskenry College farm. Typically a cow requires 5-6 litres of water per Kg of dry matter consumed. With dry grass and warm weather water demand per cow can exceed 100 litres litres/day.
