In the past I’ve used copper sulfate and then scarified the lawn to get rid of moss. I’ve always found this hard work and the lawn really doesn’t look great for the few weeks after doing this. Last year though I started using Mo Bacter to control moss and it has worked wonders.

It is extremely easy to apply, I just used a rotary fertiliser spreader but you could easily just use your hand if you have a small lawn. The best thing in my eyes though is that you don’t actually notice it working. One day you will come out and notice that the moss is all gone. It worked a treat for me and I found I didn’t even need to use a fertiliser that year as the lawn was so lush after.
