Two highly contrasting ballet productions presented by the Scottish Ballet. Created for Scottish Ballet, Richard Alston’s world premiere of Carmen, and Cheating, Lying and Stealing, created for the Royal Ballet by Ashley Page. The latter features a sofa in flames and a soundtrack played live on stage by electro-acoustic ensemble Icebreaker.
