IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival is 30 years old! In 1990, Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival was part of the first ever Doors Open Days in Europe. 41 buildings opened their doors and welcomed in the public as part of the European Heritage Days programme. Since then the festival has opened over 500 buildings across Glasgow and has grown to include a varied programme of events and guided walks, celebrating the city’s buildings, it's people and their stories. This year from 16th–22nd September, you are invited into a record 122 buildings. Get up close and personal with the city’s architecture; inspect working factories, check out night clubs and theatres, join the congregation in one of many places of worship and get involved with thriving community projects. Look out for yet to be announced, 30th anniversary surprises by keeping an eye on our website and social media channels. As ever, happy exploring!

Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival is organised by Glasgow Building Preservation Trust, a charity that works to rescue, repair, restore and rehabilitate historic buildings at risk across the city.

We would like to thank Glasgow City Council, Assured 24, Kelvingrove Café, CBC and all of our sponsors whose generous contributions make the festival possible, keeping it a free event for all to enjoy. 3
