CARL F GROUPCO SCOTTISH SALES REGION SEES RECORD-BREAKING GROWTH

Leading independent hardware distributor Carl F Groupco is celebrating record year-to-date sales in Scotland. Pamela Wilson, Regional Sales Manager at Carl F Groupco, said: “We are delighted to be seeing such strong sales. We’re seeing existing customers taking an increased range of products from us as well as brand new customers trusting us with their hardware supply.”

Pamela highlights three reasons customers in Scotland are confident in choosing Carl F Groupco.

The company has a strong Scottish presence. Carl F Groupco has a distribution centre in Cumbernauld and it offers a next day delivery service to everywhere in Scotland, including the Scottish Highlands. Pamela said: “Our delivery service is a differentiator for us because we are a rapid and reliable supply partner for our Scottish customers.”

It has a strong team which is led by Pamela who has been with the company since 2001. It also includes Darren Gait, Depot Manager, who has worked for the company for 39 years, and Stuart Kelly, Warehouse Operative, who has been with the business for 12 years. Pamela commented: “Our customers value the depth of knowledge we bring. We also work hard to deliver the highest level of customer care and support, going beyond order processing to solve problems, offer advice and source hardware. We pride ourselves on the longstanding relationships that we develop with our customers and work for them to find the best hardware solution.”

The company’s product range is at the heart of its offer. It provides an extensive range of premium quality window and door hardware and has longstanding relationships with Europe’s most innovative manufacturers including Cotswold, FUHR, GT Guardian, Hoppe, Kenrick, MACO, Roto, Siegenia and Yale. Pamela particularly highlights Roto in this list: “Roto is a leading brand for us in Scotland because its UNI Reversible window gearing, tilt and turn and espagnolette hardware the surge in demand we’re seeing for bespoke websites.

“We have big ambitions for The Consultancy this year, so it’s important that we have the right team in place. As well as her admin role, Jade will also be supporting our new sales and marketing campaigns.” www.theconsultancy.co.uk between the two businesses has gone from strength to strength, with lots of training, machine links, updates and bespoke programming taking place over the years.

Damien Farrelly and James Murray from AMS sat down with BM Aluminium Project Managers Daniel Hodges and Simon Crilley to discuss the latest programming requirements and get the inside track from Daniel and Simon on the latest version of LogiKal (v12) launched at the FIT Show.

Damien said: “We have a great working relationship with BM Aluminium and, even in these days of Teams meets and remote working, we always see the benefits of meeting face to face. We’re able to share more of our plans and objectives for AMS, and we pick up useful advice on how LogiKal can potentially do even more for us.” www.bmaluminium.co.uk ranges are perfectly suited to the Scottish housing stock.”

While Pamela is understandably delighted by Carl F Groupco’s record sales, she’s also quick to point out the wider implications. She concluded: “These results aren’t just good news for us. Strong hardware sales also reflect strong sales in the wider industry, which is reason enough to celebrate.”
