AFL Seniors Grand Final at Landsborough

Glasshouse Lions AFL Club will be hosting the Seniors QAFA (B) North AFL Grand Final on Saturday, September 6 at the Tunnel Ridge Road oval in Landsborough. This year we have Maroochydore playing Bribie Island for the Premiership, it should be a fiercely contested game as these two teams have been the stand outs in this year’s competition. A curtain raiser will be held at 12.00noon between Glasshouse Masters (Over 35’s) and Bribie Island. The main game starts at 2.00pm, the canteen and bar will be open. Entry is $5.00 per adult and kids are free.

Glasshouse Social Bowls

After two wet weekends we finally got on the green this week. The winners were Denis Hume and Marilyn Podmore with +6 on a count back from Paddles Bruce and Craig Jones. Same time next Sunday 9.00am, at Glasshouse Country Bowls Club. All bowlers new and old welcome.

Always lived for her garden. Always cared, shared and had a prayer. Thanks to everyone who came to visit her Daylily Patch, she loved that. ‘You are so colourful’ Grace.
