Welcome to Mooloolah!
Mooloolah Valley newcomers welcomed
Moving to a new community can be daunting. Leaving familiar places, friends and family isn’t always easy and it can take time to settle in and get to know a new area.
To give new residents the opportunity to mingle with other local residents and get to know more about the community the Mooloolah Valley Lions Club will host their inaugural Welcome to Mooloolah Valley and District dinner on Wednesday, August 7.
The evening will be held at the Mooloolah State School with a delicious meal catered for by The Orangery Maleny.
Three guest speakers from local community groups in the area will talk about the things they do in and for the community and there will be information stands and displays to showcase what other community groups do.
Mooloolah River Landcare will provide native plants to decorate the tables, which guests can take home as well as a gift bag.
The Mooloolah Valley Lions Club would like to thank the Sunshine Coast Council, sponsors and the local real estate agents who invite new residents to attend the welcome on behalf of the club.
