Glass House Glass House Glass House Congratulations to the businesses below from Glasshouse Country and Maleny that have been nominated for a Glassy award. Beerwah Hideaway is a function / wedding venue and boutique accommodation hosted by Simon and Jennifer Farrell, which they describe as affordable luxury. They are located on Steve Irwin Way at Beerwah. Beerwah Hair and Beauty is owned by a born and bred local Vicki Heading. Along with her daughter Kylie and team of qualified staff they offer the complete range of hair and beauty treatments, the salon is located in Simpson Street, Beerwah. Neddy's Nosebag is an icon of Beerwah, being the go-to place for simple and affordable food. Their popularity comes down to having value sized meals where nothing is skimped on, as well as everything made fresh instore, and served up by super friendly staff. V8 Supercuts – that’s right it is Supercuts not Supercars, Jules’ Barber Shop is located just a couple of doors down from Subway in Beerwah. She is known widely for quality haircuts for men, women and children of all ages. Victory Tea House and Antiques is a little ‘nana styled’ house at Glass House Mountains on the road to the ‘lookout’. They create wonderful vintage morning tea, lunches and high teas as well as selling antiques. It was set up earlier this year by talented local photographer Rhonnda Scott. Crookneck Retreat – this boutique cottage accommodation was established by Brett and Megan Standring and showcases the best the region offers … spectacular scenery, quality local products and services and welcoming hosts.

Glasshouse Country Meats – Murray and Michelle Samuel purchased the business located in the business centre of Glass House Mountains three years ago. The business has continued to grow and develop a loyal customer base and becoming the favoured local purveyor of fine meats. Total Microsystems provides sales, service and support for everything from home users, to businesses with computer networks. Daniel and Tara Moodie love helping homes and businesses to make their IT equipment work for them instead of against them. Pasta d'Vine was created by Oscar and Sue Schlapa in an authentic continental style, where you can experience a delicious variety from their comprehensive a la carte menu. Whether you fancy a quick and tasty snack, a house-made pasta or a more substantial meal, you’ll find it at Pasta d’Vine. Matilda Fruit Barn provides fresh retail and wholesale fruit and vegetables. Located at the Puma Service Station along Steve Irwin Way and opening 7 days from 7.00am to 6.00pm, Matilda’s is the much-loved one-stop local fruit and vegetable shop. Landsborough IGA is owned and operated by the Grigor Family, and is the heart of the Landsborough. They are all about their customers – listening to their customers and being able to stock what their customers want to see in-store is very important to the team at Landsborough IGA. KLM Energy Services have been operating since 1999. So owners Kel and Lorraine McNamarra must be doing something right as the local independent gas supplier. Their recipe for success is simple … keep it simple, fair and each customer is as important as the last.
