If a swimming pool is your style, at East Lansing Family Aquatic Center you can find great family fun with a zero-depthentrance, multiple pool slides, a splash pad and concession stand. Ingham County’s Hawk Island Park offers a great splash pad area as well, plus a grassy and sandy beach at the nearby lake so you can enjoy the best of both.

Lakes

Head to Lake Lansing for a great beach experience or travel just a bit farther north to Sleepy Hollow State Park for an expansive swimming beach at Lake Ovid. Plus, your fourlegged friend will appreciate their own dedicated beach exclusively for dogs.

Don’t want to swim? Head to downtown Lansing for fun and games at the urban beach at Rotary Park. Just sit back, dig your toes into the sand and watch the river flow by.
