MAYOR’S 10 Point Plan

The 10 Point Plan focuses on the re-industrialisation of the City’s economic trajectory driven by the Port City Industrial Programme, job creation, catalytic projects and skills revolution war room. It will also focus on infrastructure delivery, energy reforms, climate change and the radical budget re-engineering reforms. Over and above this, the recognition of township and rural economies would need to be urgently adapted and mechanisms found to mainstream these into the City’s GDP.

While the terminology in the Mayor’s 10 Point Plan and the City’s strategy may differ, the aim of delivering effective, efficient and equitable services to the citizens residing in eThekwini remain the same.
