Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor

The Yellow Barn Studio has one of the largest painting programs in the Washington D.C. area. Yearly, over two thousand students study at the Yellow Barn Studio. The Studio offers a variety of classes in drawing, watercolor, pastel, printmaking, art history, oil and acrylic for students at all levels representing a diversity of philosophies and approaches by the Yellow Barn Studio Faculty. The Yellow Barn Gallery hosts weekly emerging individual and group art exhibits year-round. The Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio, a non-profit organization, provides an array of programs, exhibits, and national speakers for Yellow Barn members. Join us painting Plein Air virtually. Students will work from sources, including from life, sketches, and photos. Learn to compose and work with color. Lectures and demos are included. Exploring Pastels
