Gum bichromate is a highly versatile hand-made photo process that encourages creative image making. Using medium/ large format negatives, students practice mixing and applying emulsions, image exposure and development. Creative controls such as color choices, selective development, and multiple printing will be covered. Digital negatives can be made if needed. More info: gummist@gmail.com. This group provides a community setting for practicing your skills in handmade photo processes including platinum, cyanotype, gum bichromate, etc. The Handmade Photo Group meets on Mondays at Photoworks, for printing, sharing technique, and critique. Narrative Landscape will challenge you to make landscape images that tell a story. Combining the traditions of landscape and documentary photography you will make images that have a narrative at its core.
