Spark your creativity with Summer Camp at Glen Echo Park! From visual arts to performing arts, nature and aquatic life programs to Irish dance, there’s something for every kid and every interest. We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to the Park for a safe and fun summer. Campers ages 5 and up are required to be vaccinated and wear masks. See our Camps–at–a–Glance section on pages XX for all Summer Camp programs at the Park and to locate their descriptions in this catalog.
After Camp at Glen Echo Park $150 (Ages 5-12)

In this class, you will learn the basics of glass fusing and then apply your skills to make several art glass projects. Cut the glass and assemble it into a piece ready to fuse in the kiln. This week of photography will trace the development of photography by experimenting with different cameras from pinhole box to paint cans to 35mm and finally 120 film. Students will build the first camera and all other types of cameras will be provided including film. SUMMER MUSICAL THEATER CAMP
Celebrating over 40 years! Experience musical theater in a fun, full-day camp for rising grades 1-6. Your child will work alongside accomplished D.C. area theater professionals and teaching artists during daily rehearsals in dancing, singing (at a safe social distance), and acting. With props and costumes, music, movement, and scene-work, your child’s experience will culminate in a performance of a full, youth- appropriate show for friends and family. Please note that students are grouped with their peers, and casting is at the discretion of the director. Space is limited!
