#mojoconvoy Course Leaders & Guest Trainers Glen Mulcahy is Founder of Mojofest Ltd, the company behind Mojofest and Titanium Media, a media training and consultancy firm which specializes in mobile journalism and social video storytelling. Glen previously worked for RTÉ. While head of innovation with RTÉ he founded Mojocon- the 1st international mobile journalism conference which was held on an annual basis from 2015-2017, Mojofest is his own independent alternative to this event. He has trained thousands of journalists in Europe, the Middle East and the U.S., across television, radio, print and online and his specialities are Mobile Journalism, Video Journalism, DSLR FilmMaking and Photography. Glen frequently speaks at journalism and technology conferences with notable recent appearances including RadioDays Europe and IBC Conference Amsterdam.

Mark Egan is Founder of PurpleBridge Media, a training and consultancy firm in the U.K. He has trained thousands of journalists, marketers, charity workers and entrepreneurs to shoot professional videos with smartphones. Previous clients include the European Broadcasting Union, Oxfam, SKY, Help for Heroes, SVT Sweden, Sanoma Newspaper Group Finland, Asia Media Summit China, Wan-IFRA Delhi. Mark worked for the BBC for 12 years before starting Purple Bridge Media which offers training and video production. He has been involved in training and implementing new ways of working in major broadcasters such as SKY and BBC as well as academic institutions and companies.

Cork native Brendan Ó Sé is an award-winning fine art photographer/iPhone photographer and the iPhone Photographer of the Year, 2017. Brendan was part of the original Apple World Gallery of images shot on iPhone 6 in 2015. As well as winning many awards in international prestigious competitions, Brendan has been invited to speak about and exhibit his work around the world. His mobile photography workshops in Ireland are very popular and he has also given workshops in places such as Cyprus, Iceland, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong. Using the iPhone he tries to see and create in unusual ways and this results in some unique imagery and striking street photography.

Eleanor Mannion, has worked for RTÉ for over ten years and has produced several short-form features for RTÉ News as a mobile journalist. In 2016 Eleanor filmed and directed a one hour documentary, “The Collectors”, which broadcast on RTÉ One. This was the first television documentary broadcast in Europe filmed entirely in 4K using an iPhone. Eleanor has a BSc Degree in Multimedia Studies from Dublin City University and a Masters in Journalism and Media from Griffith College Dublin. She is currently working with the team behind RTÉ News Social Stories. Made by mobile for mobile.

Additional guest trainers will join us over the course of the trip depending on availability, with names like Philip Bromwell, Judie Russell, Caroline Scott, Tim Bingham, Cian McCormack, Sarah Jones, Wytse Vellinga and more as possible contributors. Glen Mulcahy is the core trainer and one additional co-trainer will join for the entire trip. Guest trainers will join for a workshop, photowalk, guest lecture, AMA/Q&A which may run from 1 hour to an entire day.
