Welcome to Assumption College Greetings, WE ARE SO PLEASED to welcome you to campus for our Fall Open House. Today, you will get a sense of the welcoming and vibrant community that is Assumption College. This is a place where students thrive, where they learn to discover and navigate their path in life – not just their career path, but also a path to personal fulfillment. They do this with the support of professors and advisors who truly believe in the premise that each student matters and who go above and beyond to encourage them to let their light shine. As you meet with students, faculty and staff today, I hope you will have the chance to hear stories that represent the tremendous opportunities available here—studying abroad (including the option to attend Assumption’s own campus in Rome, Italy), volunteering in the local community and around the world, exploring your faith, joining a student-run club, playing Division II sports or competing at the intramural level. This is just a small glimpse of the amazing experiences Assumption will offer you. Our ideal location in Worcester provides access to numerous internship and career possibilities, and the College’s Career Development and Internship Center is available to work with students in their first year to help prepare them for and connect them to these opportunities. Worcester is also a city filled with fun and entertainment – packed with restaurants, shops, museums, sports venues, music and more. As you explore campus today, I encourage you to connect with the Assumption community – ask questions, engage in conversation and discover more about the areas of Assumption that interest you. I am confident you will leave here today feeling the contagious enthusiasm of a campus that is ready to welcome you. Enjoy your day.
Sincerely,
Michael DiPiazza Director of Admission
