This beautiful Farmhouse sleeps 12 and has its own private swimming pool. It is situated within 30 acres of its own land in rural countryside in the Lotet-Garonne area near its border with the Dordogne area in the South West of France. It’s also an ideal base for visits to the Dordogne valley with its world famous pre-historic cave paintings, caverns and pre-historic cliff dwellings as well as the romantic medieval châteaux of the Dordogne and the ‘Bastide’ towns (fortified market towns) which remain largely as they were 600 years ago. World renowned wine tasting is available locally in the Duras, Sauterne, Marmande, Bergerac and Monbazillac areas as well as in Graves, Médoc and the picturesque medieval town of Sainte-Emillion. On the first Sunday of each month, the old town of Bergerac transforms into a large antique market. Bordeaux, with its opera house, art galleries, museums, shops and the lovely broad sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast are little more than an hour away. Moreover, Biarritz, located further south on the Atlantic coast, is still within striking distance for a day-trip. The winning bidder must utilize the lot within 12 months of the date of the auction unless other arrangements are made with the owner. Dates are subject to availability outside July / August and the week must be taken prior to 30th September 2020.
