Innovation: Portavant 60 ceiling mounting with sidelight After the very successful launch of the Portavant 60 glass sliding door fitting, Willach has now extended its range to include a sidelight application. COMFORT STOP
Portavant 60 is the Portavant solution for small sash widths and weights. With a profile height of only 57.7 mm, Portavant 60 allows cushioning with self-closing in a very reduced space on both sides of the sash and without glass cutout. And this from as little as 380 mm sash width and up to 60 kg sash weight. As well as wall and ceiling mounting, the Portavant 60 glass sliding door fitting can now also be used to realise ceiling mounted projects with a sidelight – no matter whether there are one or two sashes. In this application, the sidelight is safely positioned in the track behind the sliding sash.

With the exception of the track profile, the Portavant 60 sidelight application makes use of all the other technical components of the Portavant 60 sliding hardware. So even for ceiling mounted installations with sidelight you can now benefit from the proven advantages of the Portavant 60 glass sliding system. •
