GLITTER & SPICE FALL 2020 CAPSULE WARDROBE Welcome to my first-ever capsule wardrobe! I’ve picked 26 items (most of which are in my own closet!) that you can mix and match to create well over 500 outfits. If that sounds insanely daunting, don’t fret: I’ll show you how! Oh and by the way, you probably have a lot of these items in your closet already. Okay, maybe not the exact item, but I’m willing to bet you have a white t-shirt, dark wash jeans, and a cable-knit sweater already in your closet - go ahead and use those! No need

to reinvent the wheel (or your closet!) here. Also feel free to make swaps so that the capsule makes sense for your climate - I made this capsule with a Texas fall in mind, so you might need to bring in some heavier-weighted fabrics if you live somewhere cooler (aka just about anywhere else). The picks I include in this capsule wardrobe are all pretty budgetfriendly. You guys know that that’s nothing new, but I wanted to be especially sensitive to pricing given the fact that we’re in the midst of a pandemic. fun fact: I am wearing some variation of this outfit for just about the entire months of September and October. Every year. Texas doesn’t really get a “fall”, so this outfit is the perfect weight for those 70°F fall days.

style tip: If it’s a cooler day, feel free to throw the coat on top of this outfit - it’ll still look super chic!

where to wear it: This is the perfect outfit for one of those hot fall days (like we have in Texas). I would wear this look to the farmerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s market, to grab coffee or lunch, or even for a daytime date!

where to wear it: I wore this EXACT outfit to the office countless times last fall and spring! Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s such an easy, casual outfit - great if you have a casual dress code at the office!

style tip: Blanket scarves can add a lot of bulk to the neckline (but they’re also super warm, so there’s that!). To even that out, I like to wear my hair up in a bun or ponytail whenever I wear a blanket scarf.

style tip: I feel like this should go without saying but if itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s a particularly hot day, feel free to ditch the sweater! The outfit is plenty cute without it.

style tip: While I personally like to wear my cardigans open, feel free to button this cardigan up the whole way for some extra warmth!

fun fact: Antelope print has been very ”in” the past 2 years... and it will be again this fall! This top is the perfect way to try the trend.

style tip: Donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t be afraid to wear whiteon-white! If you feel like you need an extra pop of color, do a headband or some fun, colorful jewelry.

style tip: Donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t tuck this shirt in! Either wear it fully out or do a front tuck - the fun of this shirt is in the volume.

style tip : Since this sweater is so boxy, I recommend front-tucking it into your jeans. Doing so will create a waistline. I front tuck almost all of my sweaters / shirts into my pants and skirts!

style tip: Silk scarves are so versatile

and theyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;re the perfect pop of color and personality. You can wear this one knotted around your neck, tied on the handle of your bag, and even in your hair!

style tip : While Iâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;m not showcasing this look with the silk scarf, it would add a fun pop of color if you were to tie it around your bag!

fun fact: Forget everything you ever heard about white after labor day - it doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t apply where white jeans are concerned!

style tip : I love the stiff neck of this turtleneck (and the fact that

itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s not tight on the neck). If the neck is too high for you, you can always roll it to create more of a mockneck style.

fun fact: These Dudley Stephens turtlenecks come in 15+ colors!

I own the navy, grey, white, and camel. While theyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;re on the more expensive side at $158, I find them really durable and comfortable for doing anything from workouts to actual work!

style tip: You can wear this shirt fully tucked in, front-tucked, or not tucked at all - it looks great any way you style it!

where to wear it: Honestly, I’d wear this look on a date. IDK if I’m gonna go on a date anytime soon, but I’d wear this look if I were!

style tip: For a fun transitional style, tie the shirt at your hips (make a knot with the ends of the shirt). Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ll make the shirt look a little summery - perfect for those in-between weeks!

style tip: As a note, I would not recommend tying the shirt when styling it with the blanket scarf - the weight of the blanket scarf will make a summery knot look out of place. Instead, front tuck!

where to wear it: Honestly, wherever. Apple picking? Le duh. Shopping? Sure! To a Netflix marathon on your couch? Why not? It’s 2020. Do you, boo. Though I’ll be super impressed if you get this dressed up for a Netflix marathon.

style tip: Once again, I only recommend front-tucking this blouse (or not tucking it in at all). The volume of the blouse is half of the fun!
